"The DMZ tour is a must do tour for any military history enthusiast".
Travis Fennell - Owner

This is a fascinating tour for those serious about the history of the American War in Vietnam.  Travel 67km north of Hue to visit Quang Tri, the area surrounding the 17th parallel where the frontier between North and South Vietnam was drawn. Doc Mieu and Khe Sanh military bases are on the agenda along with the Ben Hai river. A visit to the Vinh Moc tunnels show the living conditions some of the Vietnamese soldiers endured.

  • 8.00am Our guide and driver will meet you at your hotel for the journey north to the DMZ.

The first stop will be the La Vang Cathedral before continuing to the Quang Tri Citadel where a fierce battle took place in 1972.

Further up Highway 1 you will cross the Hien Luong Bridge over the Ben Hai River, which was the border between North and South Vietnam from 1954 to 1975. Today there is a memorial next to a newly constructed wide bridge.

From here you will journey to the Vinh Moc Tunnels, an amazing network of underground tunnels stretching 2.8km, where 300 people lived to escape the bombing.

Tour includes a visit to Khe Sanh, former military base.

Lunch will be included at a local restaurant.

It is a full and busy day tour and you should arrive back in Hue by approximately 5.30pm
