Duong Lam Village is an ancient little village only 60km from Hanoi. Home to national heroes and famous artists this famous village has been preserved as a site of historical interest and offers an insight into the agricultural lifestyle of ancient Vietnam.

  • Explore Ancient Duong Lam Village

Our guide and driver will collect you from your hotel at 9:00am for the 65km drive to Son Tay province and the ancient village of Duong Lam.

On arrival, you will take a walk on the village path to visit Mong Phu Temple (dedicated to national heroes) King Ngo Quyen Temple and King Phung Hung Temple. Your local guide will explain the significance of the buildings to the Vietnamese people.

A special Vietnamese lunch will be served in an ancient house at midday. Mats will be provided after lunch if you want to take a quick nap.

After lunch, we visit Mia Pagoda (built in 15th century) and admire the 287 ancient statues of all sizes before transferring back to your hotel in Hanoi at around 4:30PM.

A pretty little village

Duong Lam Village was perfect for me and my wife. We are really into our temples and ancient history. The food was lovely too.
