"A walking tour to explore the fascinating and confusing narrow streets of the Old Quarter, sampling delicious local delicacies and experiencing the local way of life in this exotic city. "

  • Hanoi

We begin this tour in a very local coffee shop located at the bottom of the Old Quarter over looking Hoan Kiem Lake (the Lake of the Returned Sword) that shows the traditional style of architecture in the Old Quarter. You will learn why the houses in the old quarter are very narrow and why most of the street names start with Hang. This trip will take you inside the alleys and explore the fascinating and confusing narrow streets of the Old Quarter. Learn more information about Hanoians by visiting an ancient house & Bach Ma Temple. On the way, you will have a chance to enjoy some local snacks and drinks and the tour includes a bowl of Vietnam’s national dish, Pho. A choice of two start times – 6.30am to see the locals exercising around Hoan Kiem Lake or 9.00am for late starters.
