Vietnamese Cusine is simple, elegant and stunning. This 13 day Vietnam Gourmet Tour lets you feast your way across Vietnam's 3 different regions. Each region has its own unique specialities, flavours and techniques. You'll be sampling the flavours and learning how to cook the dishes along the way. You'll leave this tour a few belt knotches higher, with a handful of recipes and a headful of memories.

  • DAY 01

    Arrive in Hanoi

    A car will be waiting for you at Noi Bai airport to take you to your hotel. Along the way keep an eye out for some delicious Vietnamese street food. Once you've checked in and refreshed explore the Old Quarter. A winding cobweb of tiny streets jam packed with gourmet dishes waiting to be tried.

  • DAY 02

    Hanoi Cooking Class

    Today you will get a double dose of Hanoi cuisine. In the day you'll have a hands on cooking class. Starting in the morning you'll go shopping at the local market with to buy some herbs and spices. Back at the cooking school you'll learn how to put them together into a delicious meal which you get to enjoy for lunch. In the evening you'll be picked up at your hotel and be taken on a street food tour of the Old Quarter, sampling a wide range of local specialities.

  • DAY 03

    Cooking class in Hue

    This morning, we fly to Hue. After a one hour flight we'll check into our hotel and freshen up before hitting the streets for a tour of the city. We'll pick up street food snacks along the way and have a delicious picnic style lunch. In the evening we're going to learn how to cook spicy Hue food at our second cooking class. You'll learn the differences between Hanoi and Hue food and you'll learn the techniques of Hue food decoration.

  • DAY 04

    Street food tour in Hoi An

    This morning we take a picturesque drive through villages, past rice paddies and South East Asia's largest fresh water lagoon. We drive over the stunning Hai Van Pass with its outstanding coastal views and down through the thriving city of Da Nang. Upon arrival in the charming town of Hoi An you can relax before a street food tour of Hoi An's most famous eateries. Firm favourites include Banh Xeo, Nem Lui.

  • DAY 05

    Hoi An Cooking Class

    All we have planned today is our third cooking class. Today we'll learn the secrets of Hoi An's local specialities. Herbier than Hue food and spicier than Hanoi's, Hoi An's cuisine is a firm favourite in our office. Your afternoon and evening are free to spend how you like. Chill out by the pool, shop to your hearts content, search for decadent street food or chill out on the beach.

  • DAY 06

    Free day in Hoi An

    Spend the day at your leisure. Hoi An has stunning countryside, hundreds of tailors and dozens of interesting historical sites. Chat to us about our private tours.

  • DAY 07

    Food orientation tour in Nha Trang

    Early in the morning we'll transfer to Da Nang airport for a quick flight to Cam Ranh. We'll transfer to Nha Trang where you'll enjoy a quick food orientation tour showing you the best things to eat and the best places to eat. The rest of the day is yours to feast.

  • DAY 08

    Free day at the Beach, dinner at Lac Canh

    Enjoy a free day to spend on the beach. Tonight we'll eat at one of Nha Trang’s most well-known restaurants, Lac Canh barbeque restaurant. A speciality not to miss is the eel pate, only available at this restaurant and is seriously delicious.

  • DAY 09

    Transfer to Da Lat

    In the morning we'll take a scenic bus ride up to the former French Resort area of Da Lat. We'll do a quick orientation tour when we arrive of all the foody hotspots. Enjoy a free day with the cool mountain air.

  • DAY 10

    Da Lat

    Start today with a city tour taking in some of Da Lat’s many interesting sights. Followed by a fun filled cooking demonstration with Ms Xuan. She'll show you how to make Mountain specialities and explain what makes Da Lat Cuisine so unique.

  • DAY 11

    HCMC

    Short flight to HCMC in the morning followed by a city tour in the afternoon taking in Old Saigon's historical sites and the street food market at Ben Thanh. Your guide will introduce you to Saigon's finest dishes.

  • DAY 12

    Day trip to the Mekong Delta

    You'll be picked up from your hotel early in the morning and transported to the Mekong Delta by bus. We'll explore the mighty Mekong by powered boat, stopping at villages and markets to explore and enjoy its unique cuisine.

  • DAY 13

    Departure day

    You'll be picked up by your own driver 2 hours before your flight. We hope you had an awesome time and left with more than just full bellies.

Vietnamese food is more than just rice and noodles. It's an intricate and delicate cuisine crafted and perfected over thousands of years. It's also super cheap, super fresh and super healthy. This tour will let you compare and contrast specialities from three different regions.
