We are so happy to announce that Vietnam is back on your travel list! After years of waiting Vietnam is open and ready to be explored. All destinations are welcoming people from around the world with no more self-isolation. Here are the latest guidelines on visa you need to know before travel. Please note that information does change almost daily so we will do our best to make sure this link is up to date with every glance.Update: 16 Aug 2023 PLEASE NOTE WE ARE WAITING FOR UPDATES ON WORKING LINKS FOR 3 MONTH E-VISA APPLICATION.

1. Entry Requirements

  • Vaccinated and non vaccinated travellers are welcomed into Vietnam without having to quarantine or test before departure or entering the country.

2. Vietnam Visa Exemptions

Visitors from some countries may enter Vietnam and stay for the indicated number of days with no visa required.Check out the list below:

If you qualify for a visa exemption but want to stay in Vietnam beyond this number of days, you need to apply for a 30 or 90 day e-visa.

3. Vietnam E-visa

  • Available to nationals of 80 countries, including AUS, NZ & USA.
  • Valid for 30- 90 days
  • Multi entry now available
  • Apply at least 3 weeks in advance, the website says 3 working days but it usually takes around 7-10 working days. Vietnam has a lot of public holidays that you also need to factor in when it comes to applying, so the sooner the better!

How to Apply for Vietnam E-Visa Step By Step

  1. Go to this link https://evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn/en_US/web/guest/khai-thi-thuc-dien-tu/cap-thi-thuc-dien-tu
  2. Click English in the top right corner
  3. Complete application form and attach passport page and passport photo. These files MUST be JPEG.
  4. Review all information is 100% correct before making payment.
  5. Make payment of USD$25 and there is no additional cost upon arrival in Vietnam
  6. A reference number will be emailed. Wait 7-10 working days and then Log online to print the E Visa.
