Why visit Nha Trang?

Nha Trang is known for its almost year long perfect weather, gorgeous beaches, happening nightlife and its cultural attractions. Located on Vietnam's south-central coast, it’s a prime stopover for those travelling between Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi – and indeed, many tourists only stop for a few hours while they wait for their connecting bus.

However, stick around for a bit longer and you’ll get to enjoy gorgeous golden sand beaches, clear blue water and plenty of snorkelling/diving opportunities around the coral reefs of Hon Mun Island. There’s plenty of watersports available ontop of the sea, too!

Plus, if you’ve been to the Vinpearl Land south of Hoi An, you’ll love Nha Trang’s version. The resort complex is on an island just off the coast of Nha Trang (you can reach it by cable car for added thrills!) With an amusement park, a waterpark and an aquarium, it’s a great choice for families.

Once you’ve had your beach and watersports fix, check out the Po Nagar Cham Towers: ancient Hindu temples, where you can explore intricate carvings and learn about the Cham civilization that were home to ancient Nha Trang.

End your day with a beachside cocktail and wandering for fresh seafood at Nha Trang Night Market. There’s some great stalls here for buying decent beach clothes (and large-sized shoes!), plus outerwear that may come in handy for the rest of your trip. And if you’re a fan of Croc shoes, there is an abundance of these on offer, being the favoured footwear of the Koreans.  Nha Trang offers an ideal location for excellent weather and a distinctively friendly vibe for a memorable holiday inclusion.
