Koh Lipe

Pristine beaches • Stunning sunsets • Incredible diving

60km from mainland Thailand, deep in the shimmering Andaman Sea, lies diminutive Koh Lipe. The tiny 2km x 1km slice of tropical paradise is free from cars and worries. It may be small, but its impact on those who make the journey is immense.

Why visit Koh Lipe Thailand?

Why visit paradise? Seems like a silly question, right? Koh Lipe is a stunning taste of island life set amidst the radiant blue sea. It might take bumpy boat ride to get here, but once you step foot onto its pristine beaches, your cares will melt away.

In a country renowned for island getaways, few can compare to Koh Lipe. Sure, it may not have the amenities of some of its larger island neighbours…but it more than makes up for it with sheer natural beauty.

Anyway, who needs a car when you can stroll around the entire island in just a couple of hours? Spend your days lounging on the beach or dive into the crystal-clear waters for some of Thailand’s best snorkelling and diving spots. There’s no rush on Koh Lipe – just be sure to have a beer in hand when the sun sets.

If you want McDonalds and fast internet, head to Phuket. But if you want to get away from the crowds and experience some of the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets of your life, book a trip to Koh Lipe.

Best things to do in Koh Lipe

  • Beach beers: Enjoy the atmosphere of Pattaya Beach, the island’s main hub of Kope Lipe nightlife.

Leap into your Koh Lipe holiday!

Koh Lipe Thailand doesn’t offer much…unless you count crystal-clear waters, stunning coral reefs and perfect beaches, that is!. If that sort of thing floats your boat, prepare to have your flip-flops charmed right off.

Despite the island’s size and relative isolation, Koh Lipe accommodation is rich and varied: from budget-friendly options to upscale choices. And whatever your style or price range, our local travel team can find the perfect spot for you to lay your head. We’ll also arrange your transfer to and from the island, and can give you tips for the best things to do on Koh Lipe when you arrive.
